It seems like every week we hear another game being brought onto the Epic Store as an exclusive, instead of releasing on Steam. Bethesda, however, is acting as a new wildcard, announcing that all their current gen games will be releasing on Steam as well as the Bethesda.net launcher.

Announced in a tweet by the Bethesda Twitter account, a number of upcoming games under the publisher, as well as the recently released Fallout 76, will be releasing on Steam.

"We're pleased to announce that RAGE 2, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot, and DOOM Eternal will be released on Steam as well as https://beth.games/2Mhhqoi. We will also be bringing Fallout 76 to Steam later this year."

Fallout 76 had originally received a fair amount of flack for not being available on Steam, an uncommon practice for the publisher. It was given heavy criticism for many other things, but that's not the focus right now.

All in all, this is a smart move from Bethesda, especially with the constant discontent with the Epic Store for all of the exclusivity deals they've been announcing.
