While many fans of the Elder Scrolls franchise are upset about the new Morrowind DLC being made for Elder Scrolls Online, and not as a stand-alone game, here comes some rather uplifting and exciting news from Bethesda.  Glixel spoke with Bethesda Game Studios executive producer Todd Howard about what's in store for the company other than the upcoming release of The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim for the Nintendo Switch, and virtual reality version of Fallout 4.

Although Todd Howards neglected to provide any details about specific project titles, he did, however, provide some pretty vague information regarding new games in development.  All aboard the hype train as the anticipation for these games builds up.

"We've got a good number of projects on the go. We're bigger now and we do want to be putting out more stuff. We have two larger projects that are more classically the scale of what we do, but even bigger. We overlap the projects so we're working on them at the same time, but they're staggered. I can't talk a lot about them, but I can say that they're bigger than anything we've ever done. They're a bit different, but definitely in the wheelhouse that people are used to from us."

Though I think we can all save our excitement for their upcoming mobile game, the "classically Bethesda" games that Todd Howard says are within the "wheelhouse" of expectations definitely do muster some anticipation and excitement.  When the creators of Skyrim are coming out and saying that their new projects in development are even larger in scale than anything they have done before, you know we are destined for something pretty special.  If you need me, I'll be boarding the Bethesda hype train with the rest of the gaming world.
