What's more horrendous than a wooden and steel death machine with spinning blades in the front and a surprise flamethrower out the top? How about three of them in a world of their design? Besiege has received an update that adds two new features to the game: multiplayer and level editing.
In Besiege, the player takes on the role of a medieval siege vehicle craftsman, joining together blocks of wood to a collection of wheels, weapons, and armor, to create a machine capable of completing the task at hand. These tasks include destroying buildings, chopping down infantrymen, or simply reaching the goal zone.
Now you can invite two friends to join you in your efforts as they build alongside you. Each player has their own building zone and can control their own vehicle.
The perfect accent to this is the new Level Editor mode. Players and their friends can build their own environment, adding in walls, gates, towers, guards, and whatever else they need to come up with something. Perhaps a collaborate race track that they will then race on or a large circular battle arena as you build and fight giant robots.
The update, called Multiverse, is available as a free update to Besiege, available on Steam for $7.99.
