Bullet Hell and the Rhythm Genres of gaming, what could the end result be? Well, you can find out with indie developer and publisher Nekki's Beat Da Beat, which will be releasing on Steam for the PC on March 11. In Beat Da Beat, the two genres are mashed together to create a unique experience, where everything happening on screen is "to the beat." Basically, you're being taught to dance through the torrent of bullets and come out on top. As for the features? Welp:
Pixel art style
Musical levels
Four Difficulty modes
DUBSTEP
To jumpstart the temptation, Beat Da Beat won the DevGAMM Excellence in Game Design for the year 2015 and the Comic-Con GamesJam 2014 awards. Oh, and here's a video, if you want to check that out too:
And if you need any further persuasion, you can already purchase Beat da Beat for $0.99, or you can try out the free version on the Google Play Store (which scored a 4.5 out of 5 stars) and App Store.
