Sci-fi Adventure games feel like they're becoming all the rage lately.

Theeeeen again, it could just be me. Next week, Funktronic Labs' unique sci-fi adventure title Nova-111 is zooming its way onto Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PlayStation 3 on August 25. But what about the Xbox One, Wii U, and Xbox 360 versions? Well, we can all look forward to the Xbox One version arriving August 28 and the Wii U version following soon after. Unfortunately, there is no release for the Xbox 360 version.

A quirky looking title, Nova-111 follows a boxy research vessel that must fight through the hordes of alien lifeforms in a turn-based world knocked silly by real time elements. The vessel, aptly named Nova, must rescue 111 lost scientists that were lost in the aftermath of the "Universe's Greatest Science Experiment," an attempt to unlock "real-time" within the turn-based world. As a result, the two worlds collided, creating a mess of time. In a way, it's similar to Pixeljunk Shooter, but with a temporal vortex to repair and plenty of mind-warping strategic battles and puzzles.

Of course, you can't succeed without your abilities and upgrade modules! Oh, did you know you can also stop time and make harness the power of time?

Because you can. And you will. For the scientists!

Be ready for Nova-111 August 25 for only £11.99/14.99/$14.99, though there will be a launch discount of 20%. Check out the launch trailer and the ultra special developer video, posted below:
