The original Bayonetta was released four years ago in early 2010, and it quickly became popular due to a mix of hyperactive combat, crazy style, and the fact that your character got more and more exposed the more damage she took.  That was probably a contributing factor right there.

Well, despite only coming out for Xbox 360 and PS3, the sequel, Bayonetta 2, will be a Wii U exclusive, for reasons I don’t really understand.  Regardless, here's the trailer.

Pretty nifty, right?  Seems to have everything a bayonetta game needs, except creepy porcine baby faces. Perhaps the most exciting news for Wii U owners, though, is that bit at the end: the entire original first game will be packaged with the sequel, and includes a bunch of costumes based off Nintendo characters.

Pretty neat, but it won’t placate fans of the first game who aren’t interested in a Wii U.
