Curious about what Battlefield 5 will be like? Well, the wait will soon be over, as DICE will be revealing Battlefield 5 with juicy details on Friday, May 6 at 1pm PT/4pm ET during a world premiere event.

I wonder if this will be dealing with the rumors awhile back about Battlefield returning to its roots with a setting of World War I. According to a 2014 EA investor call, the game will be released this holiday. Anyway, be on the lookout for it. We will be updating with a reveal by then.

Would you be looking forward to a World War I Battlefield entry?

I think so. A lot of newer FPS games are based in the future, such as Call of Duty (and it's soon to take place in freakin' space). We have Destiny, we have Titanfall 2... a lot of AAA FPS, if not all the ones from the past couple of years, are futuristic. So it'd be a nice change of pace to head back in time to when a setting was older.
