A couple of months back, in May, Battleborn - Gearbox's hilariously mistimed hero-based multiplayer shooter, released it's first free DLC hero, Alani, which owners of the Collector's Edition got automatically, while non-owners could grind their way through the empty servers and unlock her with the in-game currency, or by completing a certain achievement.

Well, if that first hero failed to get your attention, get ready for the SECOND DLC hero to also not get your attention. And, sorry to say, boys and girls: it's still not Sombra. Rather, it's a rogue snake-person Assassin named Pendles!

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.jpg

"Don’t fall for his youthful charm -- Pendles is literally a cold-blooded killer. Originally from the ocean world of Akopos, Pendles did as most adolescent Roa do and left home to experience galactic cultures, and enjoyed murdering those cultures so much that he never went back. Upon finding out that people would actually pay him for his hobby, he became a freelance assassin for anyone with even the smallest of grievances. Despite misgivings toward his moral code, Ghalt eventually decided that it would be more dangerous to have him off the team than on."

Being an assassin, Pendles will probably be able to go invisible, stab people, and call this a hunch, but I'm going to guess that poison and venom is going to play a role in his kit. He'll be released on the 27th of next month, and as with Alani, he can be unlocked with 47,500 in-game credits.

So, readers, what do you think? Is he a cool concept? Do you think you'll have fun playing with him, or against him? Do you-

-Ha, just kidding, I know you've already stopped caring. Go have fun on Overwatch, you scamps.
