So! Who here is excited for Battleborn?
I hope you said yes, because starting today, and running until the 18th, Gearbox is finally letting their cooperative/competitive sci-fi shoot-em-up loose on the public with the first open beta. While PS4 players get an early start, able to download their copy today, in five short days, on the 13th, the game will be similarly released onto the Xbox One and the PC. Just in time to be completely ignored, because of motherflippin’ Dark Souls 3.
But still. It’ll be there.
Regardless, if you are one of those people who are interested, but are a little afraid to go in blind, don’t worry: Gearbox has you covered with this extensive 12:30 minute-long trailer explaining the rules of the game, the game modes, a bunch of lore, and everything you need to do to protect and/or exploit the last star in the universe from the grips of evil.
Check it, dawg:
The beta will include two story missions, two competitive multiplayer modes, and all three of the game’s progression systems. Seems like fun--no reason not to give it a try, if you’re on the PS4. Or don’t! Because a better game will be out at the same time. And you can do that instead.
