Battleborn is Currently 40 Percent Off on Steam

Is this an omen? I hope not.

Battleborn is doing fairly well for itself, being in a needless shadow of Overwatch. However, it's looking to score more users, as Battleborn is currently on sale for 40 percent off the original price on Steam. Currently, the standard version is $35.99. This applies to both the deluxe and regular versions of the game.

If that isn't tempting, then I don't know what is. Is this a move to compete with Overwatch? Well, who knows honestly? It could be seen as a strategy to keep afloat, as slashing prices are a good indicator of that, and it has only been a month since its release, but nowadays, lots of games tend to go on sale for roughly the same price.

Still, the pricing is a bit of a steep drop, truth be told, so maybe someone is feeling a little threatened. Keep in mind that the nature-loving support character Alani will be arriving on the 31st to the general public.
