Last weekend was the start of the Dragon Ball FighterZ open beta. The event has unfortunately been riddled with technical problems, which may result in the beta being extended further.

If you preordered the game, you could access the beta a day early, on Saturday, while everyone else could enter the beta early Sunday. The beta was supposed to end this Tuesday at 3 a.m. ET, but a recent tweet by Bandai Namco acknowledges the server issues and mentions extending the beta.

FighterZ, the DRAGON BALL FighterZ Open Beta is experiencing network issues that cannot be addressed quickly. We'll keep the Open Beta online but you might experience problems during gameplay. We may extend the Open Beta, more info here: https://bandainam.co/DBFZOBT

The link provided directs you to a Facebook posting with a more thorough statement.

FighterZ,

Thank you for playing the Open Beta of Dragon Ball FighterZ and your invaluable feedback.

Our team is working hard on optimizing the Open Beta but ran into some issues that cannot be addressed in a short amount of time, so we are asking for your patience until the next server update.

The current Open Beta will remain online and available so that the players who can log in and play it, can keep doing so.

Please note, that if we cannot address the issues within a decent amount of time, we will consider extending the Open Beta of Dragon Ball FighterZ.

Thank you for your support and patience as we work towards an optimal gameplay experience.

If you've been having server troubles, then know you aren't the only one and that Bandai Namco is working to address this. For now, consider the beta ending Tuesday morning, at least until an official statement is made as to its extension.
