Today marks the 15 year anniversary for PS2's Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. It's hard to be a gamer and not recognize the PC RPG juggernaut, Baldur's Gate. Even if you're not a fan of Dungeons and Dragons, the original smash hit rocked the RPG world. The console equivalent, Dark Alliance, may not have gathered the same response, but it definitely deserves a lot of credit.

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance was arguably one of the best dungeon crawlers to hit the console scene. And that's still true today. It has a fun combat system and engaging story. And, of course, great multiplayer options. Oh, and it also has the fantastic voice work of the late Tony Jay. So that's a major bonus.

To celebrate this anniversary, I plan on dusting off my old copy and giving it another playthrough. If you don't own a copy, then at least consider checking out a let's play.
