The game was revealed as part of Google's Stadia Press Conference on Thursday. As such, it'll be part of the Stadia's upcoming line-up when it releases November 2019.
Developed by Larian Studios (the people behind Divinity: Original Sin), Baldur's Gate 3 will be based off current D&D mechanics and spells." Set in the Forgotten Realms Dungeons & Dragons campaign, it focuses on the "return of a malevolent presence." Based on the trailer, we're guessing it's something relating to Mind Flayers.
Baldur's Gate 3 will NOT be a Google Stadia exclusive, either. Larian Studios CEO Swen Vincke spoke with IGN explaining that they aren't interested in exclusivity deals.
"There is no exclusive attachment to Stadia. It was important to us to tell our players 'we're not going to participate in the exclusivity game.'"
They already have pages for the game on GOG and Steam, as well.
Baldur's Gate will release on Steam, GOG, and Google Stadia around November 2019.
