Awesome Games Done Quick 2018 has come to an end, and the results are better than ever before. After 7 days of speedrunning, the organization has raised $2,268,532.96 so far.

Even though the event is over, donations continue to rush in. This is the most money ADGQ has ever raised, having bested last year's record by about $45,000. This is the accomplishment of over 45,000 donors, with an average of $50 a person. The complete list of donors and their level of contribution can be found here.

It all goes to the Prevent Cancer Foundation. ADGQ has raised more money than the previous year every year since 2011 (with the exception of 2016).

This year's AGDQ had over 150 different speedruns, from bloodborne, to Mario, to Resident Evil. The event concluded with a 5 hour run of Zelda: Breath of The Wild by player atz.

The next in the line of Game Done Quick events is the Summer Games Done Quick, which will begin on June 24 and go until July 1. More details to be announced closer to then.

Awesome Games Done Quick 2018 will be followed by Summer Games Done Quick 2018, from June 24 to July 1. Combined, 19 events in the Games Done Quick series have raised more than $14.5 million for charity.
