The Film

Remember when Avatar came out? It got high ratings, it was this huge thing, and everyone talked about it to the point of obsession. And yet, it had its fair share of haters too. While some idolized James Cameron for it, others went on a tangent about it was just another glorified Pocahontas story

The Game

Well, it's not enough to dissuade The Division developer Massive Entertainment from working on a game based on the film. Ubisoft announced it, clearly they're excited.

Working with Fox Interactive and Cameron's studio, Lightstorm Entertainment, the game will be powered by the same engine that powered The Division, Snowdrop.

There aren't many details to be had at this point, but it is known that the game will be available on PC and consoles.

Are you excited about this game? Has the craze died down too much for this to work? You be the judge.
