And what a hymn it is.

Ah, the Hymn of the Fayth: it's such a good piece from Final Fantasy X, exhuberating a range of elegance and signifying much about the game's theme. So it's only appropriate that an 80-piece chorus would perform the theme, right? Well, thanks to the AV Club, that has happened, and we're here to share that video with you.

I may not be the largest fan ever of Final Fantasy X, but damn, the choral piece, which is part of the The Greatest Video Game Music III: Choral Edition, is extraordinary. It's incredibly heartfelt and thoughtfully placed as the opening track, but it also is remixed between songs like "Still Alive" and "Dragonborn." And if you want to listen to it on Spotify, we can provide the link right here for you:

If you'd like to outright buy it, the album is available on iTunes.

Seriously, we hope you enjoy it, because it's worth every minute. By the way The Greatest Video Game Music III: Choral Edition is performed in a medieval church by the Swedish Orphei Drängar choir, featuring singer Myrra Malmberg.
