If you're either a fan of retro games or Atari specifically, then you've most likely seen the very vague video that they released prior to this year's E3 convention. The teaser trailer really only told us that they are indeed working on something, and most people assumed that this new project had to be a console. 

Well, now we can finally put aside our skepticism and get hyped up because Atari Ceo, Fred Shesnais, confirmed in an interview with GamesBeat today that they are indeed working on a new console. Fred shared virtually no information about their new console aside from the fact that it's based on PC technology, so we don't have much to go on at this point. Nevertheless, this is huge news from a legendary gaming company and we can't wait to find out more about it.
