Ubisoft has revealed that they are working on an Assassins's Creed TV series. Aymar Azaizia, Assasins Creed head of content confirmed the development of the TV series during a Reddit AMA. Although he neglected to share any specific details about it, he did say that they are taking their time to assure that they make the best show possible.
It's no surprise that an Assassins Creed show is being developed based on the fact that it's an incredibly popular and profitable franchise. Let's hope Ubisoft can pull it off since TV shows/movies based off of video games don't usually turn out well. Being arguably Ubisoft's most renowned franchise, I'm sure regardless of how it does, it's still bound to be profitable; being the cash cow that it is.
