When a game comes out on a last-gen console after the new generation of consoles has been released, it usually doesn't receive much hype or praise. This was the case for Assassin's Creed Rogue, but Ubisoft announced today that a remastered edition is coming to the PS4 and Xbox One. The remastered edition will not only include all of the game's DLC but also two bonus missions: The Armor of Sir Gunn as well as The Siege of Fort de Sable.

The original Ubisoft studio that created Rogue is remastering it as well. It will be running at 1080p resolution on standard systems but will be supported in 4K for PS4 Pro and Xbox One X owners. If you're a fan of 18th-Century colonial action and sneaky excitement, then pick up your copy of Assassin's Creed Rogue on March 20, 2018. The real question is: can it follow in the footsteps of the surprising success of Assassin's Creed Origins? Well, that may not be likely, but we can always hope.
