It is believed that people who buy Nintendo products don't like Assassin's Creed. Well, that's what Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot thinks. That being said, Assassin's Creed Origins is being shipped out for Xbox One, Xbox One X, PlayStation 4, PS4 Pro, and PC. It has been officially confirmed by Game Director Ashraf Ismail that a Nintendo Switch version of the game will never be available.

The two most recent Assassin's Creed games that were available for purchase on a Nintendo console were Assassin's Creed III and Assassin's Creed: Black Flag. They came out on the Wii U and did not sell very well at all. That being said, the Wii U didn't really sell all that much as a console, so maybe that played a role in it as well.

Regardless, Ubisoft doesn't care about what could have been. They're definitely not making a Switch version, and instead will focus on games similar to Just Dance for Nintendo customers. That kind of seems like a slap in the face to me, but what do I know.
