Ubisoft announced today that their hit Assassin's Creed game, Origins, will be getting quite a bit of post-launch content that adds hours of gameplay. The first of the DLC will be titled The Hidden Ones, a story-line expansion that dives deeper into the continued growth of the Brotherhood. These events occur four years after the events in Origins. You will be fighting against the opposing forces of Rome in a new world called the Sinai. Players also have an increased level cap of 45, new weapons, new mounts and new outfits. Assassins can access the new DLC on January 23rd.

One of the more interesting add-ons to be put into Origins is the Discovery Tour by Assassin's Creed: Ancient Egypt. This allows players to either free roam Ancient Egypt and learn about its rich history and the daily lives of its people or take part in a guided tour curated by historians and Egyptologists. This will be available as a free update on February 20th to owners of Origins and also purchasable by itself on Steam and Uplay.

The last announcement was for another exciting story-driven DLC called The Curse of the Pharaohs. This expansion will include a completely new storyline following an expedition to the region of Thebes to investigate a terrible curse that has been wreaking havoc on the civilians. This expansion dives deeper into the mythology of ancient Egypt and the players will face more mythical beasts and Pharaohs to try and end this curse. Much like the other story expansion this will increase the level cap again to 55 as well as add new content to customize your character with. This expansion is due on March 6th of this year.
