Is it true?!

Ezio Auditore may be taking a leap of faith right into your PS4 or Xbox One. Word came out that the Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee website had listed a brand new game, Assassin's Creed: Ezio Collection, for PS4 and Xbox One. Though Ubisoft has not come out and confirmed that this game is a reality for these consoles, they have officially stated that no new Assassin's Creed game will be released this year.

Now, the Ezio Trilogy has already been released for PS3 and that was back in 2012. Perhaps Ubisoft won't be producing a "new" game this year, but maybe revamping an old one for the newer systems? At this point, I highly doubt we're going to see an Assassin's Creed title this year. It's already the end of August, and without any warning or promotions, Ubisoft is going to drop a game down from the sky? Nah, not believing that for a second.

I actually really hope that this game does come out for the newer consoles, rather than having a brand new Assassin's Creed game. The Ezio trilogy is by far the best collection of AC games, and I would rather replay those same games ten times over before I play one of their brand new, boring, recycled games with a stupid assassin that I hate. I'm an Ezio fanboy, and even when he first came to the spotlight, I wasn't sure how I felt about him. I thought Altair was the best assassin that the game could ever have, especially with the time period you played in. Eventually, Ezio captured my interest, and let's all sit here and hope that we'll be seeing an Ezio Collection coming to PS4 and Xbox One next year!
