Assassin's Creed Empire will Most Likely be Scorpio's Showcase Title

Ubisoft has been working very hard on their new installment to the Assassin's Creed series and it's believed that their new game, Assassin's Creed Empire, will be a showcase title for the Scorpio. With the new console promising incredible graphics and improved quality of gaming, why wouldn't Ubisoft use that new technology to really show how amazing their new game is going to be. Now, I'm not saying that Empire is going to be an exclusive for Microsoft consoles and there's currently no word on whether it will be or not. All I'm saying is that Ubisoft is expected to use Scorpio to hype up their game and Microsoft is using Empire to hype up their console.

The release date for the Scorpio has bounced around a bit and should be expected to drop in November or December of this year. Xbox's Phil Spencer has confirmed on Twitter that both the games and hardware for the Scorpio are in the middle of production right now. With the Holiday season launch of the console, Microsoft is probably going to see huge sales if they can manage to do this thing right.

If Ubisoft and Microsoft really want to maximize profit, they need to have a stellar E3 presence and really draw gamers in. This is also the 10th anniversary of the Assassin's Creed series, and I'm waiting to see if they play a role in the marketing for Empire. If it does, I expect an amazing game and I'm excited to see what they're going to do with their brand new title.
