Jade Raymond is making some big strides in her career. Beginning directly after college as a programmer for Sony, she moved forward to producer on Electronic Arts' The Sims Online, then to part-time correspondent on G4's The Electric Playground. From there, in 2004, she joined Ubisoft Montreal, becoming co-creator and producer of Assassin's Creed and executive producer for Assassin's Creed II, Watch Dogs, and The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot.

However, back in October of 2014, she announced her split with Ubisoft. So where did she continue her career?

Today, it has been revealed that she returned to EA and founded a new studio titled Motive. From there, she will be overseeing Visceral and helping the studio develop their new Star Wars title, written by Uncharted's Amy Hennig.

Her exact words?

"I'm happy to announce that I'm joining Electronic Arts and opening Motive, a new development studio in my hometown of Montreal, Canada."

"Yanick Roy and the BioWare Montreal team are doing some new and exciting things with Mass Effect: Andromeda and it's clear that there is already so much talent to collaborate with on site."

This suggests that she will be working closely with BioWare, so she could possibly be helping out with BioWare's upcoming Mass Effect: Andromeda. Expect Motive to bring to life new IP and work hard on upcoming projects.

To quote her excitement on working with Visceral on Star Wars:

"I've known Amy for years and have admired her work on the Uncharted games! I'm thrilled that the first big project that we will work on in Montreal will have Amy as Creative Director."

"An opportunity to work with her and the Visceral team, and to play in the Star Wars universe, is once-in-a-lifetime stuff."

Unfortunately, not much is known about the new Star Wars game except that, according to Nolan North, it will be similar to Star Wars: 1313, a third-person action adventure game where players slipped into the shoes of a bounty hunter, and it will take inspiration from the Uncharted series. Of course, there are rumors floating about that the game would be open-world, but EA has neither confirmed nor denied it.

Looking forward to your work with EA, Jade!
