Previously we were teased for the next ARMS update 5.0, featuring a mysterious woman. The update has now gone live, and we learn about the newest fighter, Dr. Coyle, aka the rad scientist, the director of Arms Laboratories.

Her inclusion in the game brings the fighter count up to 15, and 3 more Arms with her, Lokjaw, Parabola, and Brrchuk.

Lokjaw breaths fire from an Arm built of spare parts. Parabola is a gem made from an umbrella, some infrared sensors, and an outdated electrode. Brrchuk is a freezing nunchuck with the power of a cyclone.

Dr. Coyle is the director of ARMS Laboratories. She has devoted her life to the advancement of ARMS research. This passion is seen in her fighting. She wants to be the most powerful fighter there is, to the point of experimenting on herself to become stronger.

A new stage, titled "[Name Redacted]" has also been added to the lineup. You can see it, as well as Dr. Boyle in the video above.

Here is the full changelog for update 5.0, provided by Nintendo of America Support website.
