In preparation for Ark: Survival Evolved's long awaited departure from Steam early-access into the realm of "full games", Studio Wildcard has doubled the games price.
Previously announced, they had planned to double the games price when it fully launches, but in order to "ensure retail parity" for the incoming launch, they've decided to double the price early as you can see on the Steam page now.
This is definitely bound to upset some players, but either way, it was going to happen at some point. Studio Wildcard might have done us a favour by ripping off the band-aid nice and quick.
