Ark: Survival Evolved Gets a Worldwide Release Date

Finally, after two long years in early access, Ark: Survival Evolved has entered its final stage of production and it will be fully released on August 8th, 2017, for Xbox One, PS4, and PC of course. Since Ark: Survival Evolved made an appearance on Steam early access a couple of years ago, it has come a long way. There are now 100+ creatures inhabiting Ark's extremely vibrant islands. From dodo birds, to giant squids, to unicorns, to T-rex, the world of Ark: Survival Evolved is alive and diverse.

Ark: Survival Evolved will be launching with three versions available for every kind of fan out there:

ARK: Survival Evolved ($59.99 USD)

This base game includes everything a burgeoning Jurassic adventurer needs to get started in the world of ARK. It's the core game, and all free content released up to this point, offering up hundreds of hours of gameplay to players.

ARK: Survival Evolved - Explorer's Edition ($99.99 USD)

The Explorer's Edition takes the base game and adds even MORE - introducing a Season Pass that will grant access to all expansion packs, starting with Scorched Earth (available now) and including more packs launching later this year and into 2018.
