And fruit, and gold. It's a big update.

Home is where the heart is. And Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp just got a little heartier with their latest update: Happy Homeroom. The popular Nintendo mobile game has just received a major update, adding in new features, mini-games, and new items.

The main feature of the update is the new Happy Homeroom classes. The player can not meet up with Lottie, the helpful assistant from Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer. Here, she will help the player learn how to make their cabin or camper looks great. But instead of notes and lessons, it's a furniture placing mini-game.

In each session, the player is given a villager to help finish decorating for. With recommended furniture options, the player then chooses the three most appropriate items to display. The better they do, the more points they will be awarded. Successful sessions can result in an increased HH rank, a new HH crafting material, and more. To start a session, the player has to redeem a HH ticket. The tickets replenish up to three in a day.

Alongside this update are a few new features to entertain the more nature-oriented.
  • Local Produce: Each camp will have a certain type of fruit that only grows there, much like in the classic Animal Crossing games. There are lemons, grapes, and lychees. The only way to get all three is to buy the others from fellow players.
  • Blatherss Treasure Trek: The friendly owl has started his own adventures. To help him along, the player participates in a dice rolling mini-game. The rewards are great, you can even unlock new villagers. But be careful, each dice roll has a cost.
  • Petes Parcel Service: If you're too lazy to bring all of the things the nearby villagers are requesting, you can instead mail them to them with Pete. This is a quick way to fulfill villager requests without all the loading screens.
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp has changed a fair bit since it's launch over a year ago. You may want to check it out again. For more information, visit their website.
