The Animal Crossing mobile game, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, has been confirmed to release worldwide on November 22. The announcement was made via the Nintendo of America Twitter account.
Have you heard the news? Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will be coming to mobile devices worldwide on 11/22! #PocketCamp
The game has technically been out since the beginning of the month, when Nintendo did a soft release in Australia. While this was presumably for bug testing purposes, this didn't stop thousands of fans from acquiring a copy of the game on their phones no matter where they were, though many would refuse to link their Nintendo account to the game, as it suggests, out of fear of punishment for "breaking the rules."
In Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, the player takes on the role of a campgrounds manager. Here, the player can decorate the main camping area, as well as visit the various other regions of the campgrounds. Throughout all the areas are the familiar animal friends from the Animal Crossing series. The player also owns an RV that they can decorate inside and out, as opposed to the usual house.
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp comes out on mobile devices on November 22. You can find it in the iOS App Store or the Android Play Store.
