Anchora the Spider Tank May Be Overwatch's Next Hero

Yesterday's reveal of the eleven-year-old robotics and artificial intelligence genius Efi Oladele has Overwatch fans going completely bonkers with anticipation for the release of the games next hero.  The initial assumption was that she will most likely control some kind of machine/robot to send into battle given her young age and her desire to "build something that can keep us safe".  After much speculation, some research has been done that is leading most fans to believe that Anchora the Spider Tank (presumably controlled by Efi Oladele) may just be Overwatch's 24th hero.



The image above was taken from Sombra's origin video, and only now has helped make a conclusion thanks to the reveal of Efi Oladele.  In the image, we can see a spider-like mechanical creature, connected to Doomfist's gauntlet and the flag of Numbani, which Efi hails from.  Efi Oladele's connection to advanced robotics and artificial intelligence, tied in with this image seems like a smoking gun to most, and more than enough evidence to support the rumor that Efi/the spider tank will be Overwatch's next hero.  

Additionally, a leaker who has previously stated that Doomfist will not be the next hero to be released (contrary to popular belief at the time) also predicted that "Anchora", a female omnic quadrupedal character will be the 24th hero.  He also stated that this character hails from Numbani and has a west African accent.  While these are still obviously just rumors since Blizzard has not yet confirmed anything, I think it's fairly safe to assume that Efi/Anchora will be Overwatch's next hero.  Let's hope that she is at least because she sounds super bad-ass. 

Taking all this new information into account, I'm sure that Blizzard will be making an announcement in the near future.  In the meantime, fingers crossed for the release of Efi Oladele, and her bad-ass Spider tank.
