Y'know, if there was one thing I didn't like about Saints Row 3 and 4, it's the way the creators, Volition, worshiped Johnny Gat. He has the same problem that Handsome Jack had, where the writers of the game were way too big fans of their own creation, and thus, ruined him through overexposure and hero-worship. No one else is as big of Johnny Gat fans as the people who make the game, and they seem largely oblivious of that fact when they do things like make DLC focused entirely around him.
So I'm not surprised about the trailer that they dropped this E3. Just disappointed.
On the bright side, he only seems available as a pre-order bonus from GameStop, so it'll be super-easy to not get his fingerprints on what seems to be a pretty cool game.
Agents of Mayhem comes out August 15th this year.
