Agents of Mayhem Get Talking Cars in a New Trailer

And more guns and some okay jokes.

Agents of Mayhem is looking pretty good. Even better, now that a new trailer has been released.

Agents of Mayhem, a rag-tag crew on a crusade to battle the evils of the power hungry, the tyrannical and those that double park.

In the not too distant future, the only hope for governments and global corporations swept aside by LEGION are a group of corporately funded super agents called the AGENTS of MAYHEM!

I, uh, know I’m typically more talkative than this, but there’s not much more to say. The talking car has a Night Rider feel, the jokes mostly land, although it’s starting to look more and more like the ill-fated Battleborne with every trailer and character I see, both in design and humor… it’s just looking to be a strong follow-up to the developer’s previous run of Saints Row games. And maybe that’s all it needs to be.

Oh, and I just learned that canonically, it is set in the same universe as Saints Row, after the Gat out of Hell Expansion un-does the whole “destruction of earth” thing. That’s pretty cool, I suppose!

Agents of Mayhem comes out August 15th for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
