AeternoBlade was an action, Metroidvania-style title that showed promise, but unfortunately, with Metacritic anyway, it fell flat with critics and users alike. However, it can be perceived as decent, being "Castlevania on a budget."

Well, with that all being said, the title, which is about a woman named Freya wielding a blade that bends time, is heading to the Nintendo Switch. In fact, it launches on the Nintendo Switch on February 1, 2018.

Along with this news comes a separate announcement from developer Corecell Technology in regards to AeternoBlade II. They revealed a three-second gif displaying the progress of the upcoming title, which is due for release on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

AeternoBlade is currently available for the Xbox One, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita.
