Guess what, folks? A surprise is here for Android and iOS today! Adventures of Mana has popped onto both OSes earlier today for only $13.99. Though only for mobile devices worldwide (Japan's lucky, as they receive a Vita version), Adventures of Mana is the remake of Final Fantasy Adventure--I know, Sword of Mana is also a remake of Final Fantasy Adventure released back in 1991, but this version is completely rehauled. Adventures of Mana tells the story of a group of companions that set on a journey to protect the Mana Tree from the Dark Lord of Glaive. Boasting enhanced 3D visuals, revamped menus and a rearranged soundtrack from Kenji Ito, this seems like an adventure worth taking.
At the time of this writing, the game has scored a full 4.7 rating on Google Play, so that should tell you about its success. However, there is one significant change to note between Sword of Mana and Adventures of Mana: whereas you could play as the male or female hero in Sword of Mana (with different stories), apparently, you can only play as the male hero in this.
Well, at least there are chocobos in this version, unlike in Sword of Mana. You can purchase and download Adventures of Mana on the App Store or on Google Play.
