Finally, the moment we've all been waiting for: An Adventure Time open world game has been announced for 2018, and I couldn't be more excited. The game will be available on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One, and it will be titled Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion.

The player is tasked with getting the gang of Finn, Jake, BMO and Marceline back together after a massive flood. Each character is playable with their own unique skill sets and is voiced by the actual cast of the show.

Items and upgrades for each character are available and it will have a minor RPG aspect to play with that dictates how your characters battle in combat. The boat used to travel the land of Ooo is being named but the fanbase, and you can even send in your vote for a boat name at the Outright Games website. The final names will be chosen and voted on in late January of 2018. The game is scheduled to launch in spring of 2018, alongside the show ending its final season. Hopefully this helps make it go out with a bang.
