Kickstarter is a risky business. Far too often, campaigns go completely unnoticed and unfunded. Putting your passion on any crowdfunding site is likely to end poorly. This is especially true if you lack superb marketing skills. Given, I haven't tried crowdfunding myself, but I have supported countless of failed projects in the recent years. Fortunately, this isn't the case for the latest game by Thunder Lotus Games, Sundered. In a fantastic display, Sundered reached over CA$200K, which is 808% of its original funding goal.

If you haven't heard of Sundered before, it's classified as an action and horror title. Players take on the role of Eshe during a fight against horrifying, eldritch beings. In this quest to survive against Lovecraftian terrors in a metroidvania setting. That leaves plenty of content for the expected 10 hours of gameplay. And, of course, replayablility is a huge aspect of Sundered.

The campaign is complete, but if you're interested, you can check out the Kickstarter page here.
