Target might have made a little mistake this week. While it appears that it's all patched up now, the retailer actually put the date for Zelda: Breath of the Wild's release. Now, this is obviously not confirmed by Nintendo and it might not even be the real date, but it seems like it would make since. According to Target, Zelda will be shipping out to your house on June 13th. That being said, if this date is true and holds up, the game will not be coming out alongside the Nintendo Switch.

The Switch is scheduled for release in March of 2017, so we're actually going to have up to 3 months without the game. That seems a bit crazy to me, seeing as how the game was used to promote the console and the next-generation for Nintendo gaming. Regardless, it looks like it's going to be an amazing game, and while we might not get it as soon as we had hoped, it's nice to have a date in my head.
