It really is the year of the RPG.

We've known that 2016 is the year of two happenstances when it comes to gaming.

1. 2016 is the year of the VR... or maybe that's 2017.
2. 2016 is the year of the JRPG.

That's right, we're focusing on the latter for this article. There are so many RPGs and JRPGs releasing for multiple platforms that fans of the genre would be buried in hours upon hours of the genre.

Well it appears as if companies are noticing this trend as Nintendo UK has declared 2016 as more or less the year of the 3DS RPGs. Alongside the declaration is a list of Top 10 #3DSAdventures of 2016. Additionally, fans can participate in the chance of receiving a New Nintendo 3DS XL by voting for the most anticipated 3DS RPG of the year. So here's the list:

Keep in mind that some of these games have already released in the US. Except Bravely Second. We're still waiting on that.If I had the opportunity to vote, I would personally vote for Bravely Second: End Layer. But more than likely, the victory is going to go to either Fire Emblem Fates or Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon.
