When not struggling to free their accounts from Sony PlayStation, Fortnite players have been having a blast on the handheld console, the Nintendo Switch. This version of the game has more then let players enjoy from the comfort of their bed/couch/bathtub, but they also can start frantically speculating about the most recent strange thing taking place in the game map. Nintendo Switch players have noticed a countdown ticking away on a TV in the map.
These TVs have held messages in the past. Toward the end of season three, they displayed a llama and a Morse code signal that read, "They don't want us to k." While some suspect that the image is related to the Snobby Shores location, there's no telling currently if it's related.
With the Omen and the Visitor characters coming soon and released recently respectively, as well as the Evil Lair location housing a number of hop rocks found throughout the map, many have taken to believe this will be a missile launch of some kind. Others suspect it's more of a shuttle countdown.
Another common rumor is that this is a countdown to a cross-platform compatibility announcement. Though this is more of a hopeful wish than a contemplated hypothesis.
About one day is left on the timer at the time of writing this, so stay tuned.
