Dust, pet hair, smoke, anything that can accumulate in your console, will. With consoles expected to last a decade, the probability these machines will stay clean and running is pretty low. This current-gen (Xbox 360 and Playstation 3) saw up to 3 console purchases from consumers throughout their lifespans. Aside from upgrading memory, the primary reason for this are the failure rates of consoles.

Enter Dr. Bx...

According Dr. Bx’s survey, 75% of all console failures are related to them being dirty, and 99% of all consoles need to be cleaned regardless. Gamespot reported that “Some 36.4 percent of 360 owners reported having to buy a second console, versus 13.4 percent of PlayStation 3 owners and 8.4 percent of Wii owners,” in 2009.

Now, there’s a possible solution to the impending E-74, E-73, yellow light of death, red rings of death, disc read errors, and unrecognized disc errors, a simple light-weight filter that attaches to the console itself. You can reach Dr. Bx through his site, and start placing orders on March 17, for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
