A New Dragon Age is in the Works

It was a secret, kind of, not really.

Although BioWare hasn't officially announced the development of a new Dragon Age game, Eurogamer has received some information that's just as solid. In a disclosure to Eurogamer, writer Alexis Kennedy has confirmed that he is indeed working on the story line for a new Dragon Age game, and while it was a secret, in was shared pretty early on. Like really early.

Alexis explained that on his very first day on the job, Mark Darrah tweeted 'welcome to the dragon age franchise' and just like that, the secret was spoiled, and it's pretty much been official since then. Alexis didn't share much information about the upcoming game, but he did say that he's "been given considerable autonomy to work on a storyline bit of lore which is well-segregated from other parts of the game."

EA has not confirmed nor denied this new information regarding the upcoming Dragon Age, but they did give Polygon the classic silent treatment speech: "its a pleasure having Alexis involved with BioWare, [but] we have no new information to share regarding Dragon Age at this time.
