It's hilarious.

In one of the most hilarious Super Mario 64 speedruns I've ever seen, 70 people worked together in front of a crowd at the European Speedrunner Assembly. Each person had to get one star and the talent levels ranged from person to person. Some people were professional, veteran speedrunners, while others were amateurs that had never played the game before.

At one point, the easiest star in the game was given to a player who had never touched Super Mario 64. He had to ask what the controls were and had no idea what he was doing. He jumped over to the star and the crowd went absolutely crazy for him. It felt less like a competition and more like just a few people hanging out in a basement back in the day.

You can see the full video right here! Their goal was to beat the game in under 2 hours, but they went just a little bit over. Either way, everybody had a great time and it's really awesome to watch!
