Well, the dance between 2K and WWE will continue, because 2K Sports has actually bought the exclusive game rights to the WWE, and it will refuse to give it up. There's a new multi-year agreement signed that has extended their already great relationship.

According to 2K COO David Ismailer:

"We are very pleased to extend our partnership with WWE and look forward to many more years of collaboration."


You know, this is surprising when the series has lasted about 18 years. Seriously 18 years! So we know at this point that the joint effort between the two companies will just never end.
