10K More Copies of Final Fantasy XV Ultimate Collector's Edition to Go On Sale May 23

Remember how the Final Fantasy XV Ultimate Collector's Edition was sold out in a matter of minutes when it first was offered for pre-order? Well, you'll be able to have a second chance to obtain a copy without paying a butt-ton on eBay... sort of. According to the Square Enix blog, the company noted that an additional 10,000 units will be created, bringing the total amount to 40,000, and will be going on sale on the 23rd of May at 9am PDT. Now here is some good news, though it will be first come, first serve: those that are on the waiting list will receive a private link to a website to make the purchase. The link will only be available for 48 hours. Once the timer is up, the offer will be passed to the next available person, but this only applies to North and South Americans.

For the French, the newly produced copies of the UCE will be distributed to the fans based upon the order within the waiting list. The lucky bums will be receiving an e-mail containing a private link to purchase a UCE, and like the North and South American offer, the link will be valid only for 48 hours. The UCE will go to the next person if the order is not purchased.

For fans in Europe excluding France, the new batch of UCEs will go on sale on Monday, the 23rd of May at 10AM BST on the EU store, and will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. The purchases will be limited to one per person.

For fans in Australia and New Zealand: "There will be more UCEs made available for our fans here, more details to follow."

So would fans belonging to other regions be limited to one as well, or could they gather as many as they'd like? I hope not.
