Awhile ago, we turned our attention to 101 Ways to Die, a gory, insane puzzler that takes physics to a whole new and bloody level. Well, Vision Games Publishing announced today that the grisly title from Four Door Lemon is now ready for punishment on the Xbox One and PC and will be hitting the PlayStation 4 March 22. The game is priced at £10.99/$14.99/14.99 across all platforms. On the more dark and hilariously gory side, players must play assistant to the morally bankrupt Professor Ernst Splatunfuder, and they must help recreate '101 Ways to Die,' which is a book chock full of plenty of death recipes.

The goal all lies in the creativity of your efforts. Traps galore play an important part in finding out the most brutal ways to maim, explode, rip apart, destroy, impale, and burn some "lab-rats" known as Splatts. Whatever you do, you cannot let them escape! Check out the brand new trailer below:

According to Simon Barratt, Producer at Vision Games Publishing, on the release of 101 Ways to Die:

"As much twisted enjoyment as we had creating all the death recipes in the game, we think players will have even more fun exploring all the clever ways they can find to kill the hapless Splatts. Professor Splatunfuder's lab is now open for businesslet the killing commence!"

Here are the key features:
  • Manipulate the environment to kill the Splatts before they escape
  • Create mutilation, mayhem and destruction by laying down fiendish combination of tools
  • A series of bone-crunching animations show your creatures being maimed, sliced, burned, exploded, ripped and impaled
  • 101 delightfully gory death recipes to unlock
  • Over 50 blood-soaked levels
