While PC gaming has been systematically dominating the gaming world as of late, theres always been at least one bastion of true-blue console gaming in the industry: E3, a place where console makers and their studios can gather in joyful communion and have their yearly dick measuring contest. Well, I have bad news for my console-gaming kin: our last sacred ground has been defiled, as this year for the first time ever, there will be a dedicated PC Games Conference, run like the other press conferences, hosted by PC Gamer.

It starts June 16th and runs from 8pm to 11pm ET. Like with all E3 press conferences, we'll get snazzy reveals, cool trailers, and hype to last us a year. Check out some of the swag developers they have attending:
  • AMD
  • BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT
  • BOHEMIA INTERACTIVE
  • CLIFF BLESZINSKI
  • CLOUD IMPERIUM GAMES
  • DEAN HALL
  • DEVOLVER
  • HUMBLE BUNDLE
  • HEART MACHINE
  • PARADOX INTERACTIVE
  • SQUARE ENIX
  • TRIPWIRE INTERACTIVE
Now, here's some things worth noting: for one, this event is not actually being hosted during the announcement day that Sony and Microsoft use, which is great for us news people to keep us from getting bogged down. Also, PC Gamer is actually a news outlet, so be mindful of that when you tune in. Regardless, this is pretty exciting; I may have joshed around about E3 being sacred for Console gamers but honestly, more trailers and more reveals are always goodand I especially look forward to seeing what Blizzard has to show off.

Well, until then!
