What is bloody, tactical, and extremely fascinating? A game featuring warriors plucked from various countries. Leaping between Knight, Viking, and Samurai and boasting a gory atmosphere, For Honor surprised us today with its adrenaline-based melee combat, war-torn environments, and realistic mechanics. Yes, the mechanics are created so that you can feel the weight of the weapon and the impact of attacks. In For Honor, you can play solo, but it is best that you take part in 4 v 4 combat, which can lead to table throwing, cursing, laughter, and/or broken friendships. Whatever the case, despite the risks, the game seems too tempting not to pick up, especially after the live demonstration.
In 4 v 4 combat, you confront your enemy--erm, friend in the midst of the action-packed environment, blade in hand... It doesn't take a lot of hits to take down your opponents, generating a sense of realism. Hence, to suffer a beheading at the hands of your friend screams beyond bloody murder--instead, you're screaming betrayal. Unfortunately, the demo is all just a taste. Even more unfortunate is that the demo will be available on console, but only at the E3 booth. Fortunately for us stuck at home, we can always register here for more information and a chance for access of the alpha/beta.
Hurry, because you have until June 30 to register!
FOR HONOR!
