Need another excuse to never leave Twitter? Well, Archive.org has just given you one. Without using all caps due to excitement, Archive.org has enabled MS-DOS (Microsoft Disk Operating System) games to be played directly on Twitter, so you can now play your favorite Twitter games within your own Tweet!
And I mean all 2,600 MS-DOS games found on Archive.org, curated by American activist and historian of technology Jason Scott. The system itself actually uses a combination of the open source MS-DOS emulator DOSBox and Javascript.
All you have to do is just share the games you find on the MS-DOS section of Archive.org on your Twitter feed. Of course this can be an unfair method to rope your followers into playing a few or hundred rounds of Street Fighter II. Unfortunately, not all games will be available, as some of them have been removed at the request of developers.
