It's a sad day for all Mega Man fans as the anticipated Mega Man Universe has been canceled. The cancellation message stated the upcoming video game was canned for "various" reasons, but the note does not elaborate further any further.
Announced last July, Mega Man Universe was the creation of series producer Kenji Inafune and was to be a 2D platformer that afforded gamers the ability to create levels and customize characters from the Capcom universe. Too bad for it sounded as if it was going to be pretty cool.
